  • During the Viviane Sassen exhibition at Foam, which runs from September 21, 2024 through January 12, 2025, a €1.50 additional fee applies to all* visitors, including Museum Card holders.

This surcharge is necessary because of the size and complexity of the exhibition. The production of this exhibition is large and requires special investments. This is due in part to the high cost of the multimedia and AV installations that are essential to do full justice to Viviane Sassen's artworks. In addition, transportation and set-up costs entail significant expenses. The surcharge allows Foam to offer visitors a unique and interactive experience that makes this special exhibition unforgettable.

*This surcharge applies to the following ticket types: adults, students, youth / CJP, NS 2=1 offer. The surcharge is a one-time cost to the following ticket types: Museum Card, I Amsterdam City Card and ICOM. For these ticket types, on your first visit you will receive a special sticker so you can visit the Viviane Sassen exhibition for free on your next visit to Foam during the exhibition period. The surcharge does not apply to Foam Members, Vriendenloterij VIP, children up to 12 years, disability companions, Stadspas or press card holders.
