In this episode, Cemre Yeşil is in dialogue with Ahmet Polat, director of Studio Polat and co-curator of Kısmet. Through his photography and fieldwork, Ahmet Polat aspires to build bridges between different cultures, identities and histories. He lived and worked in Istanbul for ten years. In 2006, Cemre met Ahmet when he was speaking an event at Galata Fotografhanesi in Istanbul. Together they reflect on their professional connection, Cemre’s extended artistic practice and the Turkish photography scene.
Foam Talks - Kısmet Edition is a new series by Foam Talks featuring a selection of artist, curators and writers connected to Kısmet.
