Mahajan

Born in 1985 in India, Akshay Mahajan is an artist and photographer exploring post-colonial urban landscapes and collective memory. He was selected as one of the twenty artists for Foam Talent 2024-2025.

Mahajan's work has been prominently exhibited at various locations, including during the 13th Bamako Encounters and Encontros da Imagem. Mahajan co-founded Blindboys.org and contributes to PIX Quarterly. His initiatives include GoaPhoto and Goa Familia, focusing on Goan family histories. In 2023, he was the Aperture Portfolio Prize runner-up.
