Foam Beta _ FUSE
On 22 February, Foam Lab is organising the event Foam Beta: FUSE at Foam Next Door, amidst the works of young, upcoming photographers.

During this event, recently or nearly graduated makers and thinkers from different disciplines are challenged to connect - they share their work, their successes and failures, along with their motivations.

Foam Bèta creates a platform for this new generation with lectures, semiotic speed dating and drinks afterwards. Foam Beta: FUSE will feature lectures by leading professionals whose work is situated between making and thinking, and disciplines. Furthermore, there will be sessions of semiotic speed-dating, where the participants will do imagery analyses of the work from the Foam Talent exhibition. In this way, the participants are challenged to understand each other's language and to look for an interdisciplinary approach to their own work or to create new work together.

Foam Beta is an initiative of Foam Lab.

Foam is supported by the BankGiro Loterij, De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek, Foam Members, City of Amsterdam, Olympus and the VandenEnde Foundation.
