Wutt Hmon

Shwe Wutt Hmon, a Burmese photographer and mixed media artist based in Chiang Mai, intertwines personal stories with broader social themes. Her work, focusing on familial ties and human relationships, utilizes various mediums like photography, text, and drawing.

She was selected as one of the twenty artists for Foam Talent 2024-2025. 

Hmon's artistry has earned her the Objectifs Documentary Award (2020) and the Julius Baer Next Generation Art Prize (2021). She has been exhibited internationally, including at the Kochi-Muziris Biennale and Aichi Triennale, and participated in prestigious programs like the World Press Photo’s Joop Swart Masterclass.
