Eldalil

Egyptian documentary photographer and educator Rehab Eldalil focuses on identity through participatory creative practices. Her work challenges traditional documentary frameworks. Eldalil experiments with various mediums, addressing the exoticism of communities, including her own as an African and Arabic woman. She was selected as one of the twenty artists for Foam Talent 2024-2025.

Her project The Longing of the Stranger Whose Path Has Been Broken received numerous grants and awards, including the AFAC & Magnum Foundation’s Arab Documentary Photography Program grant. Her work has been widely exhibited. Her book was launched in early 2023.
