Ascencio

Mexican photographer Cristóbal Ascencio, born in 1988 and based in Madrid, focuses on the interplay between images, memory, and identity. His practice extends to virtual reality, data manipulation, and photogrammetry. He was selected as one of the twenty artists for Foam Talent 2024-2025.

Ascencio’s work has gained international recognition, including selections for Foam Talent and the “Ones to Watch” list by British Journal of Photography. He has exhibited at numerous festivals and received several awards, highlighting his innovative approach to contemporary photography.
