Ramos-Woodard

André Ramos-Woodard, raised in Tennessee and Texas, is a photo-based artist emphasising experiences of marginalised communities, particularly relating to Black liberation, queer justice, and mental health. He was selected as one of the twenty artists for Foam Talent 2024-2025.

Holding a BFA from Lamar University and an MFA from The University of New Mexico, his work has been exhibited across the U.S. and recognized by Silver Eye’s Silver List (2021) and Photolucida’s Critical Mass.
