Nergens zoals hier: A Touring Exhibition by Local Residents

Nergens zoals hier (There's Nowhere Like Here), a touring exhibition by local residents, travels around eight neighbourhoods in Amsterdam, Haarlemmermeer, Haarlem, Noord-Kennemerland and Almere from July 7 until October 25.

Ymere and Foam Photography Museum in Amsterdam organized photography workshops in these neighborhoods earlier this year, where residents photographed special places, people and stories from their neighbourhood. In this way locals become directly involved in their neighbourhood life. Three winning photos will be selected and become part of the travelling billboard exhibition.

The winners will be announced on 20 June 2012.
