MOAM Project - Philippe Vogelenzang
'In my work I use fashion in order to create new identities.
I prefer to shoot people as they are, or as they could be. This is
why I have used the purest piece of Winde's collection, visualing
the theatrical feeling of the iconic image.' - Philippe
Vogelenzang
Philippe Vogelenzang
Together with fashion designer Winde Rienstra, Philippe created 'Melle,
27/12/12'. Erwin Olaf's photograph 'Elle Fashion #2' was the inspiration for
Phillipe's image, which is on display at &Foam, Vijzelstraat
78, until 17 March 2013.
With a background in Art History, Philippe Vogelenzang applied for the
photography department of The Royal Academy of Arts in The Hague.
After one year he decided to develop himself further as an
autodidact. His work has been exhibited at the Amsterdam Museum and
he has been commissioned for editorial clients as Vogue
(NL) and Wallpaper.
Foam Editions
Philippe also created a second image, DAM, Studio View,
2006. Both images are on sale at Foam Editions.
