Matthew Crowley received his BA in Fashion Design and Marketing from Central St. Martins College (University of the Arts, London). He went on to study Modern and Contemporary Literature at Birkbeck College, University of London, from where he received his MA in 2011.

Matthew is currently researching his PhD, in the field of cultural history, literature and film, at the University of Brighton, where he also teaches as a visiting lecturer.

Matthew has published numerous short stories and poems, this year delivered his first academic paper 'Money and the Ghost of Class' for the launch of a special edition of the literary journal Textual Practice, and has three screenplays in development.

Matthew is currently Creative Director at Destruction is Creation. a London based brand development agency who focus on creation through a process of 'critical living'.
